Virginia State University will host two ceremonies for the Spring 2025 Commencement on Saturday, May 17th, at 8:30AM and 1:30PM in the Multi-purpose Center. Below is the breakdown of the times and Colleges:

9:00 AM- the processional will commence at 8:30AM

• College of Education
• College of Humanities and Social Sciences

2:00 PM- the processional will commence at 1:30PM

• College of Agriculture
• College of Engineering & Technology
• College of Natural & Health Sciences
• Reginald F. Lewis College of Business

The commencement exercise is a formal academic ceremony. The graduates have worked hard for this day, and the commencement staff have made the day memorable for you, your family, and your guests. We ask that you respect the ceremony, your fellow graduates, and your guests by dressing and behaving in the dignified manner that the occasion merits. No food or beverage is permitted.
