The Black College Invitational Championship (BCIC) returns to Virginia State University for its second groundbreaking year and it’s bigger, bolder, and more powerful than ever! Founded by Dr. Wes Bellamy, BCIC was created to spotlight the excellence, culture, and competitive legacy of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). This electrifying tournament features elite men’s and women’s basketball programs from both NCAA Division I and Division II, representing the four major HBCU conferences, all battling for the ultimate title: Black College Basketball Champion.
But BCIC is more than basketball, it’s a celebration of heritage, unity, and impact. With over $80,000 gifted back to HBCUs, every game fuels scholarships, academic programs, and the next generation of Black excellence. Experience the passion, purpose, and power that make BCIC the ultimate #HBCUMarchMadness experience.
