The 14th Annual Virginia State University Communications, Sport and Entertainment Symposium will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.  The theme for this year's event is "Emerging Trends in Media and Sport."

The daily events include a keynote speech, student panel session, professional panel sessions and a networking luncheon.  Professionals from the fields of sport management and mass communications will serve as panelists and moderators. Invited guests include, but are not limited to, industry leaders from professional sports (Major League Baseball, Minor League Baseball and NASCAR), collegiate sports information, television and radio.
